Archie is a homebred, totally home produced stallion, unbeaten in Irish Draught in hand showing classes at County Level as a foal and yearling. The (IDHS(GB) would not allow 2 YO colts to be shown)

 

Archie started winning under saddle as a 4 YO, and at the Annual Breed Show that year he was 1st and Reserve Champion and Highest placed stallion in the Performance Horse Class

 

Archie has hunted with the Cambridgeshire and Enfield Chase, jumps coloured and natural fences and goes XC  boldly and safely

 

At present Archie is competing at British Dressage Nov and Elem with Charlotte Currer and has 165 BD points.

 

Archie’s temperament is the kindest and most honest you could wish to find in a stallion, this with his natural talent under saddle makes him an ideal choice for anyone wishing to breed an  alrounder

 

He now has Progeny in UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA. We have just been informed that the only pure bred mare in South Africa has been scanned in foal on the first attempt with one dose of frozen semen.

 

Archie's first Embryo transfer foal is due this year a elderly mare 'Star' belonging to mrs. Elaine Banister was inseminated with chilled Archie semen an embryo was flushed at 6 days , the recipient mare 'Neave' has been scanned in foal.

 

 52 visiting mares used Archie in 2010 and  42 in 2011
